Howe voters will not have to leave town to cast an early ballot in the Nov. 3 general election. The Howe Police Department, 700 W. Haning St., is one of eight early voting locations Grayson County Election Administration has set, and voting starts Monday, Oct. 19.
When the polls are open

- Sunday, Oct. 25: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 26, through Friday, Oct. 30: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Registered Grayson County voters may vote early at any of the eight locations. Besides Howe, the county lists:

Mail ballots and Election Day
An application for a mail ballot must be in the county's hands by Friday, Oct. 23. The county's notice says applications have to be received in person or by mail by that date; a postmark is not enough.
On Election Day, Nov. 3, polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m., and voters can go to any of the county's vote centers. The Howe Police Department is on that list as well, with voters directed to its main doors.
