Christian Walker led the charge with two home runs, while Jeremy Pena contributed significantly with a solo shot of his own. The win improved Houston’s record to 67-67, dropping New York to 75-58.
Walker provided early momentum in the third inning by singling to right field, which allowed Pena to cross the plate for the game’s first run. The Astros doubled their lead in the sixth inning when Walker launched a 369-foot home run to right center, bringing in Varsho.
New York managed to cut into the deficit later in the same frame when Bellinger hit a sacrifice fly to center field, scoring Rice.

Houston starter Hayden Wesneski earned the win, delivering six innings of work that kept the Yankees off balance. Wesneski allowed three hits and one earned run while striking out six batters.
