Phoenix Holds On
Luke Kennard scored 20 points, and the Phoenix Suns held off the San Antonio Spurs 102-98 on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix. San Antonio scored the final eight points after Phoenix took a 102-90 lead, trimming the margin to four before the Suns secured the result.
Suns Build an Early Lead
Phoenix opened the game with a 35-25 advantage and remained ahead 58-51 at halftime. Kennard supplied 20 points for the Suns, while Jalen Green had five assists and Khaman Maluach recorded 15 rebounds.
San Antonio answered with a 26-23 edge in the second quarter, but Phoenix regained ground in the third. The Suns outscored the Spurs 27-22 in that period to take an 85-73 lead into the fourth quarter. The Spurs then made their strongest push of the game, winning the final period 25-17.
