Spurs answer in the fourth
Utah opened the fourth quarter with a Josh Okogie layup and added baskets from Svi Mykhailiuk, Brice Sensabaugh and Isaiah Collier to reach a 111-85 advantage.
The Spurs then made their strongest push. Ja'Kobi Gillespie hit three consecutive 3-pointers as San Antonio went on a 14-1 run that trimmed the deficit to 112-99. Gillespie finished with 25 points, but the Spurs could not complete the comeback.
Utah maintained enough separation through the closing minutes. The Jazz reached 119 points on a Harrison Ingram running pullup, and Gillespie scored the game’s final basket for San Antonio.
