Acy is listed at 6 feet, 7 inches, with the size to help on both sides of the court. His reported skills include defending near the rim, interrupting passes and producing blocked shots and deflections. Additional offers are considered likely for the highly ranked player.
The offer connects Acy with the program where his father, Quincy Acy, played forward from 2008 to 2012. Quincy Acy earned a spot on the 2011-12 All-Big 12 Defensive Team and was recognized for scoring, rebounding and blocking shots around the basket. Scott Drew coached him throughout his Baylor career after taking over as the program’s head coach in 2003.
