Over his two seasons with the Buccaneers, he participated in 34 games, accumulating 48 tackles and 2.5 sacks, although he did not secure a starting position.
The Texans view Braswell as a developmental player rather than an immediate starter. His last season at Alabama highlighted his skills, where he recorded eight sacks and ten tackles for loss, showcasing the talent that led to his draft selection.
In Houston, he will focus on specific roles such as edge setting and quarterback pursuit, while established players like Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter manage more complex tasks. Braswell's previous experience with Anderson may also facilitate his adjustment to the Texans' defensive scheme.
