The Dallas Cowboys have signed quarterback Joe Milton to their practice squad after he was released earlier this week. Milton was let go following the team's decision to choose Sam Howell as the backup quarterback behind Dak Prescott.

Milton became a free agent after going unclaimed on waivers. Howell expressed his enthusiasm about securing the backup role, emphasizing his commitment to the team's success.

In addition to Milton's signing, the Cowboys have made other roster adjustments, including the addition of running back Emari Demercado, who was signed off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs. His former coach, Andy Reid, praised Demercado's skills in pass protection and his ability to navigate running lanes.

Camden Brown also made the final roster, learning of his selection through social media, which he described as a unique experience. Quinnen Williams, now in his second season with the Cowboys, remarked on the team's growth, particularly on defense, citing significant improvements and positive changes in team culture and mindset since last year.
