The Dallas Cowboys have officially completed their roster cuts, narrowing their team from 91 to the mandated 53 players in advance of the 2026 NFL season. This decision precedes their season opener in East Rutherford, as the team also works on finalizing their practice squad.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer remarked on the difficulty of this year's roster decisions, highlighting the considerable depth and talent within the team. The Cowboys' initial lineup features three quarterbacks, three running backs, six wide receivers, and a range of players across defensive and special teams roles.

The roster includes notable names such as Dak Prescott, Javonte Williams, and CeeDee Lamb. The breakdown features three tight ends, nine offensive linemen, and various defensive positions including five defensive tackles and six outside linebackers. Additionally, several players have been placed on injured reserve or the physically unable to perform list, including linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore.

More roster adjustments are expected as the Cowboys continue preparations for the season's start.
