As the 2026 NFL season approaches, the Dallas Cowboys are preparing with a roster that remains largely healthy. The team has avoided significant injuries during the offseason and aims to maintain this trend as the season unfolds.

Currently, two players are dealing with injuries. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is recovering from an abs/groin issue. Reports indicate he was seen engaged in rehab activities as of September 1, suggesting a possibility of his participation in the season opener, although he may require more time to fully heal.

Guard Ajani Cornelius, who has demonstrated potential during training camp, is also in recovery. He missed practice on September 2 but was observed doing rehab work on September 1, indicating he might be ready for Week 1, contingent on his recovery progress.

Additionally, linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore have been placed on injured reserve. Liufau sustained a fractured forearm that necessitated surgery, while Moore is contending with a hip injury following previous groin issues. Given Moore's injury history, his contributions this season remain uncertain.

Updates regarding the status of Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week progresses, while Liufau and Moore will be unavailable for at least the first month of the season.
