The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a one-year extension with wide receiver Ryan Flournoy, a deal that would keep him under contract through the 2027 season. The contract is reportedly worth $6 million and is expected to be signed this week.
Dallas selected Flournoy in the sixth round of the 2024 draft. He was waived during the team’s first roster reductions in 2025, cleared waivers and rejoined the Cowboys through their practice squad. That move replaced his original four-year rookie contract, leaving three years on his new agreement and a possible restricted-free-agent season afterward.
The extension eliminates that potential free-agency period and gives Dallas another year of contractual control. The agreement was reached before the regular-season opener against the New York Giants. The team characterized Flournoy’s 2025 campaign as a breakout, and the contract provides additional seasons for his development in 2026 and 2027, with a future longer-term deal still possible.
Dallas has also reached a three-year extension with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
