The Houston Texans may turn to Wade Woodaz or Jake Hansen at linebacker after Henry To’oTo’o injured his shoulder during a 36-31 defeat against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Hansen also suffered an injury in the game.

Coach DeMeco Ryans said Sept. 14 that To’oTo’o is expected to miss time. To’oTo’o departed in the fourth quarter and did not return while the result was still in doubt. He finished with two tackles.

To’oTo’o made 95 tackles during the 2025 season after surpassing 100 tackles in 2024. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap wrote on X that the injury report was not surprising after he saw To’oTo’o wearing a sling. Garret Williams, who posts as Houston Stressans, identified Woodaz and Hansen as possible choices.

The Texans did not provide additional information about the injury. The report was based on information from heavy.com.
