The Houston Texans have officially re-signed tight end Louis Hansen, marking his second tenure with the team. Hansen first joined the Texans in June but was waived in late July. His return does not require any adjustments to the current roster.
Hansen, who went undrafted in April, played college football at both the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut. During his college career, he achieved 46 receptions, totaling 463 yards and four touchdowns over 40 games.
The Texans' tight end lineup now includes Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round draft pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Details regarding Hansen's specific role within the team have yet to be disclosed.
