The Houston Texans have confirmed that second-year wide receiver Jaylin Noel will be available for Sunday’s season opener against the Buffalo Bills. He does not appear on the Week 1 injury report released Wednesday, indicating he has recovered from previous physical setbacks.
Noel dealt with hamstring and finger issues during the early part of training camp. Those concerns have since resolved, allowing him to prepare for the regular season start.
He is currently competing for roster spots within the receiving group. Noel is vying for playing time alongside Xavier Hutchinson. The Texans' wide receiver corps also includes Nico Collins and recent trade acquisition Kayshon Boutte.
