Pitching Performance Secures Win

Texas starter P. Riojas earned the win with a strong outing, pitching six innings and allowing two earned runs on six hits while striking out seven batters. He was supported by relief pitchers P. Walls, who pitched two scoreless innings with two strikeouts, P. Walker, who recorded one out and a strikeout, and P. Howard, who pitched two-thirds of an inning with one strikeout. For Alabama, P.
