The Texas Rangers utilized a three-run seventh inning to overcome an early two-run deficit, defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4 on Sunday. Ezequiel Durán provided the primary offensive spark for Texas, recording multiple hits including a crucial double that helped break the tie and extend the lead.
Durán homered in the third inning to equalize the score at 2-2 after the Brewers had taken an early 2-0 advantage via first-inning rallies. He added a two-run ground-rule double in the fifth inning, putting the Rangers ahead 4-2 for the first time.
His efforts were complemented by Pete Alonso, who hit a home run to right field in the sixth inning to increase the lead to 5-2.
Pitching Performance Breakdown
Texas secured the win through a balanced pitching effort that eventually stifled the Brewers' offense. Tyler Alexander earned the victory (5-2) after pitching two scoreless innings, allowing no hits and striking out one batter.
