Angels Offense Explodes
The Los Angeles Angels delivered a dominant offensive performance on Thursday, overwhelming the Texas Rangers with 13 runs in a 13-1 victory at Globe Life Field. The game was defined by explosive scoring bursts from the Angels, particularly in the middle innings, which quickly put the Rangers in a deep hole they could not escape.
Zach Neto contributed early, scoring in the first inning on a single by Grissom. The Angels’ momentum shifted dramatically in the fourth inning when Adell launched a 359-foot home run to right field, driving in two runs and extending the lead to 3-0. The scoring did not stop there. In the fifth inning, Grissom’s single to left brought Neto home for a 4-0 advantage. Shortly after, Adell hit a massive 433-foot home run to center field, a three-run shot that also scored Trout and Grissom, pushing the score to 7-0.
Continued Pressure and Power
The Angels continued to pile on runs in the sixth inning. Grissom doubled to right field, allowing Lowe and Neto to score, making it 9-0. Trout added another home run in the eighth inning, a 438-foot blast to left center that scored Lowe, bringing the total to 11-0. The Rangers managed to get on the board in the same inning when Higashioka homered to left center for a 389-foot solo shot, making the score 11-1.
The Angels added two more runs in the ninth inning. Peraza hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Adell, and Siri singled to left to score Guzman, finalizing the 13-1 scoreline.
