Late Rally Falls Short

The decisive offensive burst came when Michael Conforto led off the inning with a two-run home run to right-center field, driving in Max Scherzer and cutting the Brewers' advantage to one run.
However, the Rangers could not capitalize on the momentum, as the Brewers' bullpen stabilized the game in the final frames.
Early Offense Sets the Tone
Milwaukee established an early lead that proved difficult to overcome. In the first inning, Jackson Chourio launched a 396-foot home run to center field, followed immediately by William Contreras, who hit a 409-foot homer to left field. The Brewers added to their cushion in the second inning when Luis Lara singled to center, allowing Juan Soto to score.
Despite these early blows, the Rangers remained competitive through the middle innings.
Rangers Strike Back
Texas found its footing in the fifth inning when Adolis Garcia homered to left-center field for 388 feet, bringing the score to 3-1. The Rangers continued their pressure in the seventh, with two more runs scoring off singles by Lara and a sacrifice fly by Connor Joe, which brought the game within two runs at 5-3.
This stretch of play highlighted the Rangers' ability to generate offense, yet it was not enough to erase the deficit established in the opening frames.
Pitching Performance
Cal Quantrill took the loss for the Rangers, pitching six innings while allowing four hits and three earned runs while striking out eight batters. His record falls to 6-5. Shane Drohan earned the win for Milwaukee, throwing five innings and allowing six hits and one earned run with six strikeouts, improving his record to 7-5.
Chad Patrick recorded the save, pitching two and one-third innings while allowing one hit and two earned runs. The Brewers finish with an 85-51 record, while the Rangers sit at 66-70. Attendance at American Family Field was 36,895.
