Henderson’s Precision Anchors Victory
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Logan Henderson delivered a masterclass in control and efficiency on Friday night at American Family Field. Henderson struck out seven batters while allowing just one hit over seven innings, securing the win for his team.
His performance was the backbone of the Brewers’ offense, which capitalized early and often against Texas Rangers starter Cody Bradford. Bradford struggled to contain Milwaukee’s lineup, surrendering nine hits and three earned runs across 5.2 innings before being pulled from the game.
Early Runs Set the Tone
The Brewers took control in the first inning. With two outs, Connor Turang scored on a groundout by Seiya Suzuki, followed by Jake Bauers moving to second base. Christian Yelich then doubled to center field, driving in Bauers to give Milwaukee a 2-0 lead.
Texas answered briefly in the third inning when Josh Jung homered to left field, cutting the deficit to 2-1. However, the Brewers immediately regained their footing in the sixth inning. Michael Brantley singled to center field, allowing Jake McCarthy to score and extend the lead to 3-1.
Offensive Surge Continues
Milwaukee’s offense continued to pile on runs in the seventh and eighth innings. In the seventh, Turang singled to center field, scoring Bauers for a 4-1 advantage. The Brewers added two more runs in the bottom of the eighth.
