Sherman is about 9 miles north of Howe. A free flu vaccination opportunity is planned for Oct. 8 at Evangel Temple Church in Wichita Falls, where the clinic will be held at 3800 Barnett Road.
The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. People receiving the shot can remain inside their vehicles during the process. Each attendee is also expected to receive a goodie bag at no charge.
