TCU coach Sonny Dykes said Jordan Dwyer is expected to be available when the Horned Frogs open Big 12 play against UCF on Sept. 26. Dwyer has sat out TCU’s first three games because of a foot injury, and his availability remains unconfirmed beyond Dykes’ update.
Dykes provided the information after TCU’s 31-7 victory over Arkansas State, saying Dwyer’s return would give the team a lift. TCU enters conference competition with a 2-1 record.
Dwyer transferred to TCU from Idaho and was a key offensive contributor in 2025. He started each regular-season game, recording 54 receptions for 730 yards and seven touchdowns. In his first game with the Horned Frogs, against North Carolina, he caught nine passes for 136 yards and a touchdown.
During Dwyer’s absence, Ed Small has taken on a larger role and become one of TCU’s leading receivers. Tight end Kari Ashley also contributed against Arkansas State, giving quarterback Jaden Craig additional targets during the opening games.
