Late Rally Decides Game
Nathan Eovaldi secured the win as the Texas Rangers defeated the Boston Red Sox 7-3 on Thursday. The decisive momentum shifted in the seventh and eighth innings when the home team generated four of their seven total runs. This late surge allowed the Rangers to overcome an early deficit and take the series point.
The victory improved the Rangers' record to 76-76, while the Red Sox fell to 82-70.
Early Offense and Pitching
The offensive action began quickly in the first inning. Contreras hit a home run to left center, driving in Abreu for a 2-0 lead. Boston responded immediately with Burger, whose ground rule double scored Foscue, narrowing the gap to 2-1.
Jake Bennett started for the Red Sox, pitching 4.2 innings while allowing eight hits and three earned runs. He also issued one walk and struck out seven batters. MacKenzie Gore started for the Rangers, throwing four innings and allowing two hits and three earned runs.

Mid-Game Stalemate

Closing the Game
The Rangers took the lead in the seventh inning. Nimmo doubled to center, scoring Seager, before Duran singled to left to drive in both Burger and Nimmo, extending the lead to 5-3. In the eighth inning, Seager singled to right, scoring Osuna to make it 6-3.
Erik Miller took the loss for Boston, pitching one inning while allowing two hits and three earned runs. He issued one walk and struck out one batter. Raymond Burgos pitched the final inning for Boston, allowing two hits and no earned runs.
