FRISCO - Big 12 Football Media Days will take over Ford Center at The Star on July 7-8, about 30 miles southwest of Howe.
The event is the conference's annual preseason media gathering. Coaches and selected players talk with reporters, appear on television and help set the tone for the season ahead.
Colorado coach Deion Sanders is the headliner, while Commissioner Brett Yormark's remarks and a deep quarterback group will give the event national reach. The quarterback list includes DJ Lagway, Julian Lewis, Conner Weigman, Noah Fifita, Avery Johnson, Devon Dampier and Jaylen Raynor.
